Cancer - it is one of the leading causes of death of men. It comes when we least expect it leaving us destroyed, tarnished, hopeless. And with the podcast "The Rhetoric of Cancer", my eyes saw the more real reality, cancer has for us.
Many of us had people in our lives die because of cancer, and I believe almost all of them took medications until their last breath. But have you ever thought that there might really be no cure to cancer? That once a person had symptoms of cancer, death follows? Some of us may say yes, but me, NO. Cancer is a life stage wherein we are challenged, our faith in God is tested, and how we believe in ourselves is put to test. It's like a one in a million chance to get a role in a stage play, or to graduate with a Suma or Magna CumLaude degree. And there are times that we just give up because we cannot take it anymore. We say "I can't" even though many say we can. We lose to an endless fight.
And have you ever tried putting yourself in the situation? Like how are you gonna take the challenge and accept the risk just for yourself and the people who believes in you? Maybe it's just a once in a lifetime chance, maybe it's an application of the saying "What goes around comes back around". Whatever method we try to play with it, all things come to an end, it's a choice we make.
